John is a leadership expert in clinical research who delivers high-energy presentations that challenge audiences to leverage their focus and pay attention to what matters most at work. Audiences love his practical strategies that they can apply as soon as they get home from the conference. John’s workshops are often described as full of energy, pragmatic, humorous, and chock-full of examples from his thirty-plus years of “doing” research at both the clinical research site and within biotech.
John is a registered nurse who has earned his MSN. He has held several directorship positions in a large academic research hospital in Louisiana for over 32 years. His strong background in learning, development, and managing large teams led to the development of his own consulting company, Bio Research Consulting, LLC. Through this consulting company, he has helped many research sites develop implementable strategies for success. He has contracted with Bio-Tech Companies as a senior report reviewer through phase 2 and 3 trials. John is also a frequent trainer on many different research subjects for ACRP as well as through his own company in both the USA as well as internationally.
Oh, did we mention that John is from Louisiana? Why does that matter? Well, it means that he is a bit playful, very humorous, and sometimes a little audacious. He also considers himself an unofficial expert in Louisiana down-home cooking…but it is the eating he mostly enjoys.
